ATTENTION! It seems that we were a little hasty in publishing the date of the summer edition of SV. While the date of the winter edition is fine, the summer edition conflicts with another Atari event - “Sommarhack”. This event is a small “Silly Venture” organized by our colleagues from Sweden (with a limited number of participants, approx. 40 people - tickets usually sell out immediately - last year the number closed at 37 participants. Traditionally, there were more people interested than there were tickets available, but for logistical reasons, a limit is set - as I have personally experienced several times).
“Sommarhack” focuses ONLY on ATARI platforms. Each edition of this event features a large number of works on compo (also on Atari 2600, XL/XE, ST/STe/TT, Portfolio, Falcona...). Last year, during private correspondence with the organizer of “Sommarhack,” I read that there will probably be no edition in 2026 (for personal reasons, which I will not disclose here). Then, “Dwór Uphagena Gdańsk” gave us two dates to choose from in July - one from July 2-5, the other from July 10-12, 2026. With this in mind, we unanimously chose the date of July 2-5. We had no bad intentions, it was just a coincidence. Therefore, next Monday, I would like to discuss the date of the event once again. I apologize for the confusion and ask for your patience. One thing is certain - the summer edition will definitely take place.
